Mountain biking is one of the most practiced sport on Lake Garda. There are many specialized shops where you can rent a bicycle for spending pleasant hours enjoying the several trials that cross the sorrounding mountains; particularly worthy are those on Mount Brione and the ascent to the Lake Ledro, but those that still have stamina and the wish of climbing up to Mount Tremalzo will enjoy a breath-taking descent on the old military road that go down to Limone.

 

Leaving from Riva you have to climb up through an old road called Ponale (closed to traffic and very panoramic) till joining Ledro Valley state road. Then keep going till Molina and reach Lake Ledro.

 

Thanks to the mild climate of the area it is possible to practice rock-climbing and hiking all year long. Sailing and Windsurfing funs can’t resist the draw of wind that blows with the worthy strenght of an ocean shore. In the area of Riva, Torbole and Malcesine are placed prestigious Sailing and Windsurfing clubs.
